The AMV competition is part of the roots of Aniventure Comic Con, having been held since the very first edition of the festival. Behind the seemingly unfamiliar letters AMV actually stands Anime Music Videos. These are videos created by talented anime fans who have mastered the art of video editing to unexpected heights. In them, scenes from one or several anime series are edited together as music videos to selected songs. In recent years, there has been a trend toward increasingly high-quality, longer, and more captivating videos that truly grab the audience’s attention.
